Hi there! I’m a proud Rhode Island native, raised in the small seaside town of Narragansett with my older brother and two younger sisters. In 1994, I married my childhood sweetheart. Not long after, we bought our first home in Voluntown, CT, which was lovingly built by our close relatives through our family business, Malek Construction. It made living there and raising our 3 sons all the more special.
Early on, I worked as a hairdresser and spent 14 years in the restaurant and catering business. Once our family started growing, I knew I needed a career that offered more flexibility. I’ve always loved working with people, so in 2003, with three little boys under the age of 7, I took a leap of faith and got my real estate licenses in both Connecticut and Rhode Island. In 2004, as we started to outgrow our home, we moved to Ledyard—a place that quickly became our forever hometown.
Real estate gave me the chance to be there for my family while still doing what I love: helping others. I’ve always believed in supporting local businesses, building real relationships, and being part of a community where people know each other by name.
Starting my brokerage was a dream I held onto until the timing was right. In 2019, with our boys grown and out on their own, I finally took that step, with the love and support of our family, and so many wonderful clients who have become friends. I never could have imagined that one day, my 3 amazing daughters-in-law would join me in the world of real estate. Sharing this career with them has been such a joyful and unexpected blessing. It truly feels like a dream come true!
