Mekhael Srour

Originally from Lebanon, Mekhael’s journey is one of passion, versatility, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Before stepping into the world of dance, he studied Culinary Arts, earning multiple awards for his craft and running his own successful pastry shop. His talent and dedication led him to represent Lebanon in international culinary competitions—yet, his deeper passion for dance ultimately inspired a bold shift in his career path.

Mekhael began dancing at a young age and quickly rose to prominence as a two-time winner of the Lebanese Ballroom Cup (2006 and 2007). Certified through both the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and the National Dance Council of America (NDCA), he trained under world-class professionals before becoming a national-level judge and trainer. After moving to the United States in 2010, he joined Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Mystic, earning national recognition as a Top Teacher Award recipient in 2011 and 2012, along with over 40 regional honors across New England.

In 2013, he co-founded Allure Dance Studios, where his artistic direction and community-focused approach have made him a cornerstone of the studio’s success. For Mekhael, dance is more than performance—it’s a journey of transformation, confidence, and joy that empowers every student to express themselves fully.

Beyond the dance floor, Mekhael has built a respected reputation as a Real Estate Investor and Foreclosure Specialist in Connecticut. Over the past 15 years, he has specialized in property acquisition, renovation, and flipping, combining creativity with business acumen to turn neglected properties into vibrant homes. His hands-on expertise in market analysis and value-driven renovations reflects his passion for helping others make smart, strategic real estate decisions.

A true multi-passionate entrepreneur, Mekhael brings the same dedication, artistry, and integrity to every venture—whether he’s leading a student to their first competition win, revitalizing a property, or crafting success from the ground up.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Mekhael is a devoted husband and father of two beautiful children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality moments with his family, finding balance, inspiration, and joy in the connections that matter most
